Within the framework of the Erasmus + program, the INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2023 was held at the Gediminas Vilnius Technical University (Gediminas Technical University, Lithuania). The event was attended by representatives of Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Lebanon, Uruguay, Greece, Georgia, the Dominican Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vietnam, Taiwan and other countries.
From Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University the senior lecturer of the “Mine Aerology and Labor Protection” Department Tseshkovskaya Ye.A. and the associate Professor of the “Chemistry and Chemical Technologies” Department Kudryavtsev S.S. took part in INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2023.
During the INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2023, excursions were conducted for participants in the structural divisions of the Gediminas State Technical University, where they were familiarized with achievements in educational activities and advanced scientific developments. Prospects for cooperation in the field of education and science between partner universities were outlined. There were also held lectures for students of Gediminas VTU.
All participants noted the high level of organization of the event. The cultural program prepared by the Ethnoansamble of Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, learning about the traditions of the Lithuanian people, visits to the sights of Vilnius contributed to a favorable psychological climate and effective interaction between the participants of the INTERNATIONAL STAFF WEEK 2023.
18 May 2023 in collaboration with the Embassy of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, a solemn ceremony of signing a Framework Agreement on Cooperation was organized between the universities of Kazakhstan and Pakistan – Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University and the Quaid-i-Azam University,Islamabad.

On the part of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, the signing ceremony was attended by the Executive Director, Professor Issagulov Aristotlel Zeynullinovich and the Head of the Center for International Cooperation Rakhimbayeva Sabina Ermekovna.
For his part, Ambassador Y.Kistafin congratulated the heads of universities on signing the document and expressed readiness to provide all possible assistance to the development of interuniversity cooperation. The parties expressed interest in implementing practical steps to develop and strengthen cooperation between universities.
On February 23-24, 2023, the head of the Center for International Cooperation of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University Rakhimbayeva S.E. took part in the seminar “Internationalization of Higher Education Institutions: International Visibility of HEIs”, organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K.I. Satpayev.
At the seminar, representatives of the British Council spoke about the international programs being implemented and gave recommendations on passing the international IELTS exam.
The seminar participants also got acquainted with the experience of Kazakh partner universities in QS, information about the international rating of THE, the opening of branches of foreign universities and other international programs.

Within the framework of the international Erasmus + Staff Teaching/Training Mobility project, in order to exchange experience and study the best practices in the field of training specialists, a group of teachers from Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University visited Poznan Polytechnic University from May 23 to 31, 2022 (PUT, Poland).
Our teachers got acquainted with PUT laboratories, held meetings with departments, faculties and departments for the purpose of further cooperation.
The head of the Department of Strategic Development and Partnership Toleuova A.R. got acquainted with the work of Polish colleagues in the relevant department PUT.
Also, Professor of the department «Technological equipment, engineering and standardization» Zharkevich O.M. and assistant of the Department «Mine aerology and a labor safety» Issakov B.E. gave a course of lectures to PUT students on topical issues of digital engineering.
From May 9-13, 2022, the head of the Center for International Cooperation and Academic Mobility, S.E. Rakhimbayeva, took part in the International Staff Week held within the framework of the Erasmus + Training Mobility program.
The VILNIUS TECH International Relations Department (Vilnius, Lithuania) welcomed 30 colleagues from 14 countries and 16 partner universities around the world.
Participants from different countries enriched the discussions with their unique experiences and ideas, and also had the opportunity to apply new digital tools. The university research facilities and the Innovation and Creativity Centre «Linkmenų fabrikas» were presented. In addition, meetings were arranged with the VILNIUS TECH administration, representatives of faculties and units. Some of the participants were also giving open lectures to VILNIUS TECH students.
The participants also gave open lectures for VILNIUS TECH students. The unique program International Partners Week, combining networking, rich international content with cultural experience, received extremely positive feedback from participants. As a result of this trip, at least 5 agreements and cooperation agreements are expected to be signed with leading universities in Asia and Europe.
From May 9 to May 13, 2022, within the framework of the Erasmus + Teaching mobility program, senior lecturer of the Department of Information Technology and Security E.G. Klyueva gave a course of lectures “Introduction to the Databases” at the Romanian-American University (Bucharest, Romania).
The University trains undergraduate and graduate students in the direction of «Information technologies for business management».
In addition to lectures, the teacher got acquainted with the teaching staff of the School of Computer Science for business Management. Colleagues exchanged experience in organizing educational and scientific activities, and also discussed issues of further cooperation. The goals and objectives of the academic mobility program of the teacher were fulfilled in full.
Congratulations to the students who have passed the competition for studying abroad at the expense of the National budget in European universities during the autumn semester of the 2021-2022 academic year.
In accordance with the order of the Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 22, 2021 No. 358 “On approval of the plan for distributing the number of places for studying abroad within the framework of academic mobility”, the main and reserve list of students for studying under the academic mobility program in Poland, the Czech Republic and Lithuania during the autumn semester of the 2021-2022 academic year was approved.

On July 13, 2020, a zoom meeting was organized between the Department of GMPI (Geology and exploration of mineral deposits) Karaganda Techinical University and Department of Geology and environment, Western Michigan University, USA. From Western Michigan University, the meeting was attended by assistant Professor of Geology and environment of Western Michigan University Gouaches of Thakurta. He spoke about his experience of cooperation in Central Asia and Kazakhstan. Vasily Portnov, head of the Department of GRMPI, familiarized the American colleague with the research and scientific interests of the Department. Research areas were identified for which joint developments were planned.
