The development of international cooperation in our university tends to expand and deepen academic exchange, joint research with leading universities and research centers abroad.
Thus, as part of the program to attract foreign scientists to teaching, the following foreign scientists arrived at the university: Zaharuddin Mohamed, Professor at the Malaysian Technical University (Malaysia); Mosavi Amir and Dregeli Agota from the University of Obuda (Hungary).
Foreign scientists are going to carry out teaching activities at the graduate departments “Technological equipment, mechanical engineering and standardization”, “Automation of production processes” and “Information and Computing Systems”.
It is planned to hold a number of lectures for students, writing joint articles with teachers of departments. In the future, it is also planned to develop cooperation with these universities in the field of science.
In addition to teaching, professors will consult undergraduates on the implementation of the theses. In the course of the work, master classes, seminars and trainings for teaching staff on submitting articles to international highly rated journals will be organized.

English courses will be conducted by Emmet Cashman, a Fulbright (English teaching assistant) scholarship holder who arrived at Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University to teach English to students, teachers and university staff.
The course will be conducted free of charge twice a week.
The course is for students and those planning to go abroad within the framework of academiс mobility or scientific internship, as well as for teachers and staff who want to improve their language level.

As part of the implementation of the program to attract foreign scientists to teaching at the Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University, Rosanna Zakaria, Professor of the Malaysian Technical University (UTM), will conduct her classes at the Department of Building Materials and Technologies in a number of planned events celebrating the 70th anniversary of the University
Rosanna Zakaria has a Hirsch Index of 12 and is the author of a number of scientific articles on the application of BIM technologies in ensuring safety on construction sites. Her research interests include a number of areas, such as Construction 4.0, Green Economy, which are among the main directions of the development of research activities of our university.
Professor Rosanna Zakaria has already started co-directing the dissertation of 1st-year master’s student Anastasia Rozhkova in the direction of “Engineering Systems” and has planned a number of training sessions for university teaching staff, and she will also prepare joint publications to expand collaboration.

The Department of Communication Systems Technology recently received Professor Mohamad Kamal a Rahim of the Malaysian Technological University. From November 17 to December 17, 2022, the Department of “Foreign Languages” of Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University hosts a foreign scientist Dr. Rab Nawaz Lodhi, associate professor at the University of Punjab (Lahore, Pakistan), researcher at the University of South Florida (USA), a scientist in the field of strategic management and business analytics, who has an index Hirsch 9, freelance editor of the magazine “Hospitality and Tourism Technology”.
Professor Dr.Rab Nawaz Lodhi gives a series of lectures at the department for undergraduates and doctoral students on such courses as “Presentation Skills” and “Leadership & Management Skills”, where students receive comprehensive information about the importance of developing leadership and managerial qualities and their role in the education system. The lecturer highlighted optimization strategies and shared his useful experience in the field of management.
A series of lectures provides an invaluable learning opportunity for our undergraduates and doctoral students: they are provided with fundamental management theories so that they can use the acquired knowledge to carry out managerial activities in the development of their professional careers.
Also, a foreign scientist Dr.Rab Nawaz Lodhi conducts practical classes for third-year undergraduate students, during which our students studying a professionally oriented foreign language have the opportunity to practice their conversational skills, naturally assimilating conversational vocabulary and grammar basics. And at the same time, simultaneously study the culture of another country – Pakistan.
At the invitation of the AMP Department, within the framework of work with visiting professors of the TOP universities of the world on the basis of our university, from 11/01/22 to 11/30/22, he conducts consultations, lectures and seminars on the topics: “Introduction to Wireless Communication Systems”, “Mobile Radio Transmission Systems”, “Duplexing. Cellular Telephone System”, as well as master classes and trainings for the faculty of our university PhD, Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (Johor, Malaysia).
Classes are attended by doctoral students, undergraduates and teachers of the university, who note the relevance of these courses, as well as a creative approach in presenting the material.
The work of a foreign specialist allows developing students’ competencies through new knowledge and teaching methods from the standpoint of modern approaches to the educational process, and is aimed at the internationalization of education at the University.
An agreement was also reached on issues of future interaction and cooperation, co-leadership and review of doctoral dissertations, writing joint publications in rating journals included in foreign databases Scopus, WoS.
Associate Professor, Doctor — Khairur Rijal Bin Jamaludin arrived from the Technological University of Malaysia to Karaganda Technical University on a working visit. The scientist attended scientific events at the university, held lectures for students and undergraduates at the TOMiS department
On a working visit from the Technological University of Malaysia, Professor, Dr. Habibollan Haron visited our University in order to conduct guest classes — lectures, seminars.
Professor Habibollah bin Haron held 2 scientific seminars for the faculty of the Department of ICS to discuss the directions and modern scientific research on the topic “The main scientific directions implemented at the School of Computer Engineering of the University of Technology of Malaysia” and a Master class on the preparation and editing of scientific articles for peer-reviewed international journals and international conferences.
The staff of the faculty expresses gratitude to Professor Habibullah bin Haron for the informative seminars. An agreement was reached on the issues of future interaction and cooperation and reviewing of master’s theses, writing joint publications in rating journals included in the foreign databases of Scopus and WoS.

So, from September 26 to 30, at the graduating Department of Nanotechnology and Metallurgy, Associate Professor, PhD Kinga Korneenko from the Crakow University of Technology (Poland) got acquainted with the work of the International Center for Materials Science and the accredited Testing Laboratory of the engineering profile “Integrated Development of Mineral Resources” on the basis of our university and conducted classes with students and undergraduates studying according to the educational programs “Metallurgy”, “Materials science and technology of new materials”
At the beginning of this month, in the framework of the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan No.155 dated April 19, 2022 “On approval of the plan for attracting foreign scientists to teaching in the organization of higher and postgraduate education”, the head of the Department of Kazakh Language and Culture, Ph.D., Associate Professor K.S. Kalybekova and the staff organized departments, the arrival of a PhD doctor from Turkey, the University of Kastamonu, Mr. Orhan Soylemez for lectures.
Orhan Soylemez will conduct 72-hour refresher courses on the topic: “Innovative methods and techniques of teaching language and literature”.
